Volcano Erupting

Here is my moment in time about a volcano erupting.

Sssssss! The steam is racing out of the volcano, ready to erupt. Sizzle goes the volcano as the hot red lava becomes hotter and hotter. Drip drop! The rocks are dropping in the hot red lava. Rumble tumble goes the volcano as it’s about to erupt. Shake shake as the volcano shakes the ground like an earthquake. Crash! Bang! The hot burning lava explodes, destroying everything in it’s path. Ash clouds form in the sky. Smoke comes out from the top of the volcano like a house on fire. Flames over there, flames over here, flames, flames everywhere. Kaboom! Rocks are shooting out into the blue white cloudy sky before crashing onto mother nature.

Environment Writing

Here is my environmental writing. We went outside and spent ten minutes using our senses.

Tweet Tweet tweeted the brown bird’s. Whoosh Whoosh the cold wind sped past. The golden yellow shiney sun shone on me. It cooked me like I’m the toast and the sun is the toaster.  Chat chat. The children shouted while working. Moooooo went the cow’s in there giant green meadow. Plop plop as the cows poop came out. Vroom vroom. The cars zoomed past. "Yawn," said the children.

Te Ahuahu

Te Ahuahu Recount

“Ahh!” I shouted as I packed my water bottle in my pink flower bag to climb TeAhu Ahu
mountain. “Vroom vroom!” the car grunted as it was waiting for me. “Let’s go!”I shouted Whoosh we were off. Finally we arrived at school. It was a long drive but we arrived just in time for the bell.  “Ring ring!” I zoomed to hang my bag and I felt the wind in my hair. “

“Ring!” It was time to climb Te AhuAhu mountain. I got my water bottle and my pink flower bag and ran to the bus. When we got to the base of the mountain we all hopped off the bus like kangaroos.

We started to climb the mountain. “This is so tiring and my legs are burning hot and are so hurt full!” I shouted as the sweat poured down my face.  “Finally we’re at the top!” shouted Bailey in happiness.  “I’m so thirsty!” I said as I reached the top. “Are we there yet?”moaned Sara. “Nope, just climb this little bit of the mountain and we’re there,” replied Mrs Clark as she was scrambling in the hot, golden sun. Finally we were all at the top.

“Shhh!” shouted Mrs Craig. The man was waiting. “Good morning everyone, thank you for coming!” the man quietly shouted. He shared his knowledge of the mountain.

“Lunchtime everyone!” Mrs Clark said in excitement. As I sat eating my lunch I saw a little wood beetle. I named it Bobby and looked after it. “Hello little bobby!” Magic shouted as I introduced Bobby to her. “Lunch is over, time to go down the gigantic green bump!” shouted Mrs Craig. At the bottom we waited for the bus to pick u sup. Finally it arrived.  I hopped on the bus like a kangaroo and we were off.
