We had to write five different similes based on Weather. We had six options and they were rainbows, snow, rain, sun, thunder lightning and wind...I decided to do rainbows. Then we had to write five similes down on a DLO and then make a picture...

Last week we did an art activity with the theme "Shadows". We made a picture of ourselves and had to cut it out with black paper behind it to make a shadow.

Swimming Term 1 2018

This year we have been practising streamlining our arms and legs. We had Swim Safe to teach us how to survive when a current or a rip is sucking you in. We also have been practising our breathing technique with Swim Safe.

I can swim a length of the pool.
I am good at floating for over 3 minutes when I'm getting sucked out to sea!
I need some work on keeping my hand up when I am trying to signal for help!
