Temperature

Kia ora bloggers.
A couple weeks back my teacher Miss Dixon assigned  the whole class to do a temperature activity. There were 4 activities in total. To make sure this activity was finished she made a deadline which is today. We also had to to choose a buddy to help us out. Dulcie and I decided to go together. My favourite thing I learned was how to spell thermometer in a fun way.

Silly sentence

For the past weeks in maths we've been learning about TEMPERATURE!! What our first and easiest activity was "write a silly sentence to help you spell thermometer". I did work with a buddy because we were aloud.

The holidays

I absolutely LOVED MY HOLIDAYS! For the first week of the holidays I went to Auckland and explored a lot of places like the zoo, cinemas, downtown plus I saw an amazing slingshot or what Auckland called it the "sky scream" it was AMAZING. I could hardly describe how adventurous it was. But now I'm back at school, not so excited but with a fresh mind. But the cool thing is I got to see my friends again.

Golf

Yesterday we had mini golf session with a man called Paul or as we call him Mr.Golf. He taught us how to hold a club, We had to get the lowest score we could.  I am not good at that to be honest...Anyways, here are some photos of it.

Commonwealth games reflective report

A few weeks ago we did a mini commonwealth games and after that we had to write a reflective report of what we did and how we thought it went! I kind of liked it but then once our final rotation came my team left because no breaks were aloud since one of our members was absent. 1. Go outside a sit on the court

2. sketch something autumn theme

3. once finished sketch describe this object or thing with words

4. Go inside and write a poem with the words you used!

School Commonwealth Games!!

Today we had the a Commonwealth games.
What we had to do was team up with 1 - 5 people in year 5 & 6. Then we had to make up an activity for the commonwealth games, my activity was skipping and we called it "Little Kangaroos". Once all that was done we had to plan who was going on break? Who is bringing what? all of that. after all of that jazz we also had to choose a country from the commonwealth games my group obviously picked "Australia", we made a flag, poster, rules poster, certificates we were busy non-stop. Finally came today were we had to set up. My group and I plan didn't go well it was boring, the kids drove us crazy, no one was listening. But it was still fun.
